Valheim: These boss buffs are available - an overview

Once you have defeated a boss in Valheim, you can hang its trophy in the stone circle. This will always provide you with a buff in the future. We explain what buffs the bosses bring with them.

Five bosses, five buffs: the buffs affect very different aspects.

Buffs of all kinds are always welcome in Valheim. The boss buffs thus prove to be a practical help.

Valheim: All five boss buffs at a glance

Here are the boss buffs listed in the order of the bosses:

• Eikthyr: With the power of Eikthyr, your stamina consumption is reduced by 60 percent for five minutes. The cooldown is 20 minutes.
• The Ancient One: The second boss's buff increases your physical resistance for five minutes.
• Bone's Woof: This buff allows for faster wood chopping for five minutes.
• Moder: After placing the Dragon Trophy, you can use the buff to switch the wind to tailwind when sailing.
• Yagluth: The buff causes you to take limited elemental damage for a period of time.

Only one buff can be actively on call at a time. For a change, you need to travel to the stone circle. Therefore, it is a good idea to build a portal to be able to change buffs at any time without a long trip.
