Slack can be easily installed on Linux. You can download the corresponding package for free. You can find the program on the website of Slack in different versions. So that Slack can be installed later without errors, you must download the appropriate package for your Linux distribution. You download the package "DEB" if you use openSuse, Red Hat or Fedora. Those who use the Linux distributions Mint, Ubuntu or Debian, download the package "RPM".

Install and set up Slack under Linus

  1. Download the appropriate package from slack.com.
  2. Double-click on the download file.
  3. The package manager opens and asks if you want to install the program.
