Setting Apple HomePod alarm clock - this is how the device wakes you up

The assistance system from Apple with the smart speaker can also wake you up. To do this, you just need to tell Siri to wake you up at a certain time or set the time on your phone. You can use different voice commands to achieve the desired effect.

How to turn the HomePod into an alarm clock?

To turn the HomePod into an alarm clock, the best way is to use Apple's voice assistant Siri.
  1. To activate Siri, say "Hey Siri". So if you want to create a new alarm time, you can simply say "Hey Siri, set an alarm for 6:30am". You can also give this alarm clock a name, for example "School".
  2. You can also turn the alarm clock on or off by voice command. To do this, simply say "Hey Siri, activate the alarm clock at 6:00 a.m." or "Hey Siri, deactivate the alarm clock at 6:30 a.m."
  3. If you have set multiple alarm times, you can also activate all of them at once by saying "Hey Siri, activate all alarm clocks".
  4. The alarm sound cannot yet be changed via voice control.
  5. Set a timer using Siri by saying "Hey Siri, set a timer for 5 minutes." Nach fünf Minuten erinnert Sie der HomePod dann mit einem Alarm.
