The popular Star Wars series consists of a total of twelve films shot and released between 1977 and 2019. If it is important for you to watch the story of Star Wars movies in the right order, here we will show you what the order is.
This is the correct order of the Star Wars movies
The first movie of the successful Star Wars series is titled "Episode IV: A New Hope" and was released back in 1977. Since then, eleven more movies were released until the series came to an end in 2019 with the movie "Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker". If you would like to watch all the movies in the Star Wars series, you can of course do so in the order of their release date. However, in terms of plot, the Star Wars movies were not shot chronologically.
