By default, the number of your Huawei P30 Lite is shown on the display of your contacts when you call them. To avoid the person you are calling from seeing your call, your only option is to suppress your number.

If you do not want other people to see your phone number when you call them, it is possible to suppress the number. Instead of your phone number, the called person will then see Unknown or "Private number" on the screen.

1. To suppress the display of your phone number on Huawei P30 Lite, please first open the "Phone app" of the smartphone.
2. Tap the "three-dot icon" there afterwards to open the context menu and tap "Settings" here.
3. In the settings, please navigate to "SIM1" > "More" and select the "Caller ID" option from the submenu.
4. To always suppress your phone number from now on all calls, please select "Suppress phone number" from the displayed options.

How to show your caller ID on the Huawei P30 Lite again

If you want to reverse the suppression of your mobile number at a later time, this is also possible via the settings of the phone app on your Huawei smartphone.
