Spotify: Find podcasts - this is how it works on the PC and in the app

In addition to music, Spotify also offers a range of podcasts on various topics such as news, sports or relaxation. You can listen to these, save them or download them. We explain how to find new podcasts in this article.

Spotify: How to find podcasts in the app and on the PC

Using Spotify as an app on your smartphone or tablet, you have several options to search for interesting podcasts.

1. To do this, first open the app and click "Library" > "Podcasts" in the menu to get to the list of all podcasts you are currently subscribed to.
2. Tap here then on "Shows" to search under "All Podcasts" for more podcasts.
3. Alternatively, the search for new podcasts works by going to "Search" > "Search All" in the app.
4. If you want to search for new podcasts in the PC version of Spotify, this is done by clicking on "Browse" in the left sidebar and then "Podcasts".

How to save, play and download podcasts in Spotify

Have you found a podcast, it can be played by clicking "Play". If there are multiple episodes of a podcast, click on the podcast cover to view the episode overview and select which episode you want to listen to. Additionally, by clicking "Follow" you can save the podcast to your library and listen to it again later. If you use Spotify Premium, you also have the option to download podcasts and listen to them offline. To do this, tap the three dots that appear next to the podcast episode and select "Download".
