  • With most major providers, you have little chance of getting a contract if you have a Schufa entry. Try your luck, for example, with "Blau", "DeutschlandSIM", "Otelo" or "1&1". You can unlock some inexpensive rates there without any problems in most cases. Your chances increase further if you do not request a cell phone or only a very cheap to do so.
  • You can also ask relatives, friends or a family member who does not have a Schufa entry, to conclude a contract for you. So you still come to your dream contract, possibly even with a good smartphone at a low price.
  • Vodafone also offers extra contracts despite Schufa. You can choose between an Allnet Flat or a prepaid tariff. To find a suitable contract, it makes sense to contact customer service.

What can you do if it does not work out?

If all ropes break, you probably have to do without a contract. However, there are now very many good prepaid tariffs. These also offer cheap data and phone flat rates. Another advantage is that you are not tied to a contract for 24 months, so you can theoretically change the rate every month. However, you have to buy a cell phone yourself with this option. Look around best at something older or used smartphones, these are usually a lot cheaper than new devices.
