How to cancel your insurance with Verti

Cancelling an insurance policy with Verti can be done in a few steps. First, you formulate a termination letter in which you request Verti to terminate the contract. You must send this to the insurance company by mail. A termination by e-mail is not legally binding and should therefore not be chosen. From when your contract will be terminated, you can read in the insurance documents. This is where the contract term is stated. Also pay attention to the notice periods. These can end a few weeks or even months before the end of the contract period.

These details belong in the termination letter

1. Your data: At the top of the letter belongs your data. Enter here your first and last name and address.
2. Addressee: Below that, name the addressee. For a termination at Verti, you can specify the following address: "Verti Versicherung AG, Rheinstraße 7A, 14513 Teltow"
3. Insurance number: The specification of the policy number is required. Diese finden Sie in Ihren Versicherungsunterlagen.
4. Text: Fordern Sie Verti auf, Ihren Versicherungsvertrag zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt zu kündigen und Ihnen eine Bestätigung über die Kündigung zukommen zu lassen.
5. Kündigungsgrund: Sie müssen keinen Kündigungsgrund nennen. Es steht Ihnen allerdings frei, einen Grund anzugeben.
