Scooter: How to install the VOI app on your smartphone

VOI is a Swedish e-scooter provider that offers its scooters for rent in various German cities. The rental and use of a scooter is thereby quite simply possible via app. The installation of the app "VOI Scooters: Get Magic Wheels" is free of charge and you can download it from the Google Play Store or the App Store, depending on the operating system of your smartphone. Once you have installed the app on your mobile device, it is necessary to register with VOI and set up a payment method after opening it for the first time.

Renting a scooter via the VOI app

Once you have registered with VOI as a new user or logged into your existing account, you can use the map within the app to search for an available scooter in your area.

1. Haben Sie einen Scooter gefunden, gehen Sie zu diesem und scannen Sie den QR-Code, der sich an dessen Lenker befindet.
2. Durch Einscannen des QR-Codes wird der Scooter freigeschaltet und es wird eine einmalige Entsperrgebühr in Höhe von 1 Euro fällig.
3. Die weiteren Kosten, die anfallen, hängen von der Dauer ab, die Sie den Scooter nutzen. Zurzeit berechnet VOI pro Minute 0,15 Euro.
