Many different apps are already available for Apple CarPlay, both from Apple itself and from third-party providers.

Offizielle CarPlay-Apps von Apple

In Sachen Funktionalität und Unterhaltung decken die nativen CarPlay-Apps einen guten Teil der Dienste ab, die Sie auch auf dem iPhone und iPad nutzen können. Alle verfügbaren Apps werden Ihnen während der Nutzung von CarPlay auf dem Display angezeigt. To add new apps, remove apps or rearrange them, please navigate to "Settings" > "General" > "CarPlay" on your iPhone, select your car and tap "Customize".

Apple: third-party CarPlay apps

The range is complemented by apps that do not come from Apple. Here is a selection of the most popular services:

• Amazon Audible for audiobooks
• Spotify for music via the streaming service
• Audio Books for audiobooks
• WhatsApp for sending text and voice messages

In addition, there are numerous well-known and lesser-known radio services such as TuneIn or NRJ. In total, the number of external CarPlay apps is therefore still quite manageable. This is not least due to the fact that the development of corresponding apps is relatively complex because of Apple's policy.
