T-Online: Save mails - how to back up your emails

If you change your email account or so that you do not lose important emails, it is advisable to back them up. In the case of mails from T-Online, you have the option of storing them securely on your computer or in a cloud, or also using an external storage medium to back up your data.

How to save your mails

With saving emails you are always on the safe side and need not fear any data loss. With mails from T-Online, saving is quick and easy, so that you do not have to do without important mails even in the event of termination or a change. T-Online offers you several options for this, so that not only emails, but also their attachments can be stored securely.

1. First, log into your email account.
2. Then switch to the mailbox in which the mails to be saved are located.
3. To select the corresponding emails that you would like to have saved, activate the check mark to the left of the mails.
4. Sind alle gewünschten E-Mails ausgewählt, navigieren Sie nun oben in der Leiste zu „Mehr…“.
5. Jetzt können Sie auswählen, ob Sie Ihre E-Mails in der kostenpflichtigen „MagentaCloud“ abspeichern möchten oder ob Sie diese auf Ihrem Computer sichern wollen.
6. Möchten Sie nicht nur Ihre Mails, sondern auch bestimmte Anhänge zusätzlich abspeichern, dann wählen Sie nun „eml-Datei“ aus, ansonsten genügt das Absichern als reines PDF.
