How to send voice messages with Threema

With Threema, your data is encrypted and more secure than it is with other messengers - at least, that's how the developers advertise these benefits for the application. In addition to the simple chat messages, you also have the option here to send voice messages to your contacts.

1. The use of voice messages is exactly the same as in other well-known messengers.
2. To do this, open the chat with the contact to whom you want to send a voice message.
3. Then go to the microphone icon at the bottom right. The recording will then start in a small window.
4. Here you now have the option to stop your recording and listen to it again before you send it via the "Send" button.
5. Optionally, you can also delete the recorded voice message again and record a new one.

The special thing about Threema is especially the high security. The servers are located entirely in Switzerland, in addition, no personal data is stored. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices. Thereby, the app fulfills the same range of functions as it is the case with WhatsApp.
