Threema is a good alternative to WhatsApp. Especially after the sale to Facebook, more and more users are considering switching messenger. The Swiss chat app Threema advertises primarily with security, so that no unknown third parties can read your text history.

How to send contacts in Threema

In Threema, the various contacts have a traffic light system. So you always know whether the identity of your counterpart has been verified. If a contact has a green dot, it has been verified by hand identification by scanning a QR code. With an orange dot, on the other hand, the identity was only tested by Threema via an SMS or email. With a red dot, the identity was not checked at all and you can therefore not be sure who you are talking to on the other side.If you want to send a contact to your counterpart, proceed as follows:

1. First go to the chat history with the contact to whom you want to send another contact.
2. Then click on the plus next to the input field for your message.
3. Then select the "Send File" button.
4. Here you go to "Contacts" to open your contacts.
5. Now you can select the desired contact from the list and tap on it.
6. Finally confirm your selection with "Ok".
