Preorder Starlink: How to do it and how much it costs

With Starlink, the whole world is supposed to get Internet access - via satellite. In the meantime, the project is becoming a reality, as German interested parties can also pre-order the package. We explain the contents and costs.

The beta test of Starlink has already been running since October 2020 and was able to convince thousands of testers of the technology. Who lives in Germany, may now also proceed to the pre-order.

• When the hardware is delivered, 499 euros plus 59 shipping costs will be due.
• Of this, you must already pay 99 euros as a deposit during the pre-order. For this purpose, credit card details are requested.
• The hardware consists of stand and dish, router and cabling.
• In the ongoing operation then accrue 99 euros per month.

The exact launch is not yet scheduled, but should still take place in the course of 2021. According to the website, the principle of "first come, first serve" applies officially. Fans of the technology should therefore not hesitate for long.
