Stranded Deep: The system requirements

Stranded Deep went into Early Access back in January 2015 - and is still there today. However, progress continues to be made, and thanks to Epic Games, there are plenty of new players. We have the system requirements.

Successful despite permanent Early Access: Stranded Deep runs on most PCs.

Actually, Stranded Deep was designed as a PC game from the beginning. Due to the great demand, it appeared in 2020 nevertheless also for consoles. For the native platform, a look at the system requirements still remains important.

Stranded Deep: System requirements check

The system requirements are kept rather superficial. Minimal is required:

• CPU: Intel Dual Core (1.8 GHz)
• Graphics card: Intel HD 5500
• Memory: 4 GB RAM

The recommended requirements are:

• CPU: Intel Dual Core (1.8 GHz)
• Graphics card: GeForce GTX 600 / ATI Radeon HD 7000 (2 GB VRAM)
• Memory: 4 GB RAM

The fact that the specifications aren't too exact doesn't matter much in this case, since the requirements are very low anyway. This is also evident on the hard drive: the game only requires 2 GB, since the island worlds are procedurally generated and apart from that there is not much content.
