CoD Black Ops Cold War: These are the system requirements

Modern shooters traditionally require a relatively large amount of processing power. Since Call of Duty has always been known for its powerful tech, looking at the system requirements in the new Black Ops Cold War is even more important.

Bombastic views: CoD Black Ops Cold War looks good - if the performance is right.

Although Black Ops comes from a different developer than Modern Warfare, CoD players can look forward to at least the same technical level in Cold War. Of course, this also affects the system requirements.

CoD Black Ops Cold War: The system requirements

The minimum requirements are:
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K / comparable AMD processor
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 670 / AMD Radeon HD 7950
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
Recommended are these requirements:
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K / comparable AMD processor
  • Graphics card: GeForce GTX 970 or GTX 1660 / AMD Radeon R9 390 or RX 580
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
Note that these specifications should be taken with a grain of salt for shooters like Call of Duty, as factors such as resolution and graphics settings make for all the greater differences in performance. If you want to play Cold War, for example, in 1440p with 60 FPS and high settings, the PC must be considerably stronger than with the requirements shown. Also with the specified 45 GB on the hard drive, wait and see, because Modern Warfare has already shown to what enormous dimensions the game can grow.
