If you want to sell your iPhone or if you simply encountered such a serious problem that you can't find a solution, resetting the device is an option. All settings and data are deleted and a fresh operating system is installed.

To reset an iPhone X to factory settings, not much technical know-how is necessary. Already with a few actions you have completely reset the device.

1. First go to your settings and navigate to the item "iCloud".
2. If you are currently logged in with your Apple ID, scroll down and tap "Logout". Confirm the process by tapping "Sign out" again.
