How to find the IMEI number of the Honor View 20

When you want to claim the warranty of your smartphone or have the device insured, you will often be asked for the IMEI number. IMEI stands for International Mobile Station Equipment Identity. The IMEI number is usually also the serial number of the device. It is needed to uniquely identify your Honor View 20. The IMEI consists of several parts. It not only contains the actual serial number, but also a check digit and the Type Allocation Code (TAC). The number can be found out in several ways.

1. In the Honor View 20, you can find out the IMEI number via a call code, just like in all Huawei devices.
2. To do so, go to the smartphone's phone app and enter the string "*#06#" without quotation marks.
3. Then tap "Call". Nun wird Ihnen die IMEI-Nummer auf dem Display angezeigt.
4. Eine weitere Möglichkeit, die IMEI-Nummer herauszufinden, ist über die Verpackung des Smartphones möglich. Meist wird diese bei den Produktdetails in der Nähe des Barcodes aufgeführt.
5. Sie wird mit der Bezeichnung „IMEI1:“ gestartet. Anschließend folgt die 15- oder 17-stellige IMEI-Nummer.
