Search PDF - without detours to the target
If you often have to work with extensive PDFs, it is sometimes not so easy to quickly find something again. That's why it can be helpful if you know how to competently search a PDF and thus save working time.
How to get to your goal quickly
It is important that you know which keywords to work with so that you can quickly find the passages within the PDF that you are looking for.- Install Adobe Reader and open the corresponding PDF document in the program.
- Now select the option "Edit" in the toolbar and click on the option "Search" in the drop-down menu that appears.
- Alternatively, you can also open the search box with the key combination of "CTRL" and "F".
- Enter the term you want to search the PDF for in the search box.
- The Adobe Reader will now show you all the sections that match the search term you entered.
- If the result you are looking for is not listed directly, use synonymous search terms or make an adjective out of a noun. This will quickly get you to the part of your PDF you want.
