How to change wallpaper on Android

If you don't like the current wallpaper on your Android smartphone, it can be changed via the device's settings.
  1. To get to the settings, please tap the "gear icon" first.
  2. Then navigate there to the "Display" or "Display" area and select the "Background" option.
  3. Here you now have the option to select a default image as a background or use one of your own photos.
  4. If you want to use your own photo as a background image, this is alternatively also possible via the Gallery app by opening the corresponding image and tapping "Set as background" in the three-dot menu.

Changing the background image via the home screen

On many newer Android smartphones, the definition of a new background image is usually also possible directly on the home screen. To do this, tap on a free space on the display and hold it down until the menu appears at the bottom. Tap on the entry "Backgrounds" and select a standard background or your own photo in the window that opens. As soon as you confirm your selection with "Set as wallpaper", the selected image appears on the home screen.
