Tolino Reset: How to reset your device

On the Tolino reader there are several options for a reset. By pressing the reset button, you perform a simple reset. A hard reset will erase all data from the Tolino. Sometimes a restart of the reader already helps.

Tolino: How to perform a reset

If a restart could not solve the problem, you should perform a reset. You must choose either a simple or a hard reset.

1. To perform a simple reset, you must press the reset button.
2. Take a pointed object and press the button until the Tolino turns off.
3. The device is then automatically restarted.

Tolino Hard Reset

As a last option, you still have a hard reset. This resets the device to the factory settings. However, a hard reset deletes all data on the Tolino that is not in the Tolino Cloud.

1. Navigate in the settings to "More settings" and reset the device here.
2. If the Tolino can not be operated, because, for example, the screen is frozen, there is the hard reset via key combination.
3. Halten Sie die Power-Taste für zehn Sekunden gedrückt, bis der Reboot-Bildschirm zu sehen ist.
4. Um den Recovery-Modus zu starten, drücken Sie die Power-Taste erneut.
