Read WhatsApp on your smartwatch? It's possible!

One of the most popular smartphone messengers is WhatsApp. Messenger services are also gaining popularity for smartwatches. However, access to WhatsApp via your smartwatch is so far only very limited use.

Now how do you query messages on your smartwatch?

The prerequisite for reading WhatsApp messages on your smartwatch is that you have WhatsApp installed on your smartwatch.

1. For easier operation, you should enable voice activation on your smartphone and on your smartwatch.
2. To do this, navigate to the "Settings" > "Google" > "Search & Now" > "Voice" > "OK Google" on your phone and activate voice control there.
3. Now you can start a voice command on your smartwatch with the command "OK Google".
4. Say literally: "WhatsApp message to [contact name]: [message]" to send a message. To do this, simply dictate what you want your smart watch to send.
5. Once you receive a message, your display will automatically light up to show you. This makes navigation even easier.
6. You can read a new message on your display. You also have the option to reply to the message by swiping it up.
7. With a new voice command, you can now conveniently record a reply and send it.
8. You can also pronounce single punctuation marks if necessary, which are interpreted by the input.
9. With a swipe down on your smartwatch, you even send emojis.
