Snapchat: Save history - how to do it

Snapchat has the peculiarity to make sent and received content only temporarily available. As soon as you leave a chat on Snapchat, the content is also deleted as soon as possible. The same applies to sent pictures, which are only available for a certain period of time and then disappear.

Save Snapchat history: So it works

Snapchat itself does not create a history. This would be contradictory to the actual intention and can therefore not be expected in future updates.

1. You can not save the text history on Snapchat. So far, there are also no other apps through which it would theoretically be possible to make a chat still available in the long term.
2. You can, however, create a screenshot on your smartphone through a simple key combination and thus photograph the chat. The same applies, by the way, for sent pictures.
3. Use the keys [Quiet] and [Power] on the Android smartphone to take a screenshot.
4. On the iPhone, you have to hold down the keys [Home] and [Power] for this.
5. Note that creating a screenshot is displayed at the sender and therefore does not happen anonymously.

1. Selbstverständlich funktioniert die Methode mit dem Screenshot nicht bei einem verschickten Video.
2. Dazu können Sie sich jedoch die kostenlose App „Snapkeep for Snapchat“ herunterladen.
3. Damit sind unbemerkte Aufnahmen von Videos und Bildern möglich.
4. Beachten Sie jedoch, dass diese Software hin und wieder nicht aktuell ist und daher nicht funktioniert.
