Can I use my UE Boom with more than one device?

The UE Boom is a Bluetooth speaker that can be wirelessly connected to different devices. It is also possible to use it with multiple devices at the same time. But how does pairing work in this case?

More than one device: how to use your UE Boom

If you have a UE Boom speaker, you can easily connect it to a playback device such as a smartphone or tablet to play music. To do this, activate the Bluetooth function on the device and press the "Bluetooth button" on the speaker when it is turned on. This will cause the UE Boom to be recognized by the device and can be connected via the list of available playback devices.

How to use your UE Boom with multiple devices

If you want to connect more than one device to the UE Boom, this is also possible. In total, you can pair the speaker with eight devices, actively connecting with up to three devices at a time. To pair additional devices, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your UE Boom speaker using the power button and press the "Bluetooth Button".
2. In the settings of the second device, then go to the Bluetooth menu to select and connect the speaker from the device list.
3. Repeat the first two steps for all other devices you want to pair with your UE Boom speaker.
4. Once you have connected at least two devices, you can start playing music from both devices. Note, however, that you must pause playback on one device before starting playback on the second device.
