Surviving the Aftermath: Steam release and more info

After the huge success of Surviving Mars, it was clear that the new game called Surviving the Aftermath would attract a lot of interest from the start. It has since hit Steam.

Early Access hit: the Steam release of Surviving the Aftermath was long awaited.

Surviving the Aftermath launched in Early Access in October 2019, but initially only at Epic Games, as explained here. About a year later, there was finally good news.

Surviving the Aftermath: Early Access now also available on Steam

Once again, Epic Games had secured the temporary exclusive rights for a top game. However, the wait for Steam fans is now over:

• Surviving the Aftermath is available on Steam since October 22, 2020.
• Nevertheless, it is still the Early Access version. Since there have been seven major updates in the meantime, Steam players can start directly at a better level than the first Epic players could at the time.
• The final release has been postponed to early 2021, an exact date is not yet known. This is justified not least with the Corona pandemic.

It is thus ideally only a few months until Surviving the Aftermath appears. Dabei gilt logischerweise, dass Ankündigungen wie diese momentan stets mit Vorsicht zu genießen sind, da die Ungewissheit einfach zu groß ist.
