Black Mirror: What's next after seasons 4 and 5?

Black Mirror was one of the biggest series sensations in 2016, and fans have been eagerly awaiting a sequel ever since. After season 4 was already released on December 29, 2017 with six episodes, an interactive movie followed and thereupon in 2018 already the fifth season.

The first three seasons of Black Mirror were not produced by Netflix, but first became a worldwide hit with the streaming provider. The fourth season came already in December 2017 on Netflix and included six episodes. However, this was followed by more content.

• After the fourth season, an interactive film initially followed a year later. Black Mirror: Bandersnatch made it possible to use the remote control to make decisions during the movie. So you could influence the plot and thus also the end.
• In June 2019, the fifth season of Black Mirror then followed. However, this included only three episodes.
• A sixth season is currently not in planning. Whether this will change in the future is questionable.
• As usual with many Netflix series, the whole season came out in one fell swoop. So you did not have to wait week after week for a new season.
