Cooling Beer: How to chill drinks in minutes

Hoping for a cold beer, but the fridge is empty? Here's how to get drinks to the right temperature in minutes.

It is called cold mixture: for this, pour cold water into a bucket, add ice cubes, sprinkle neat salt on top and stir well. It is best to mix all three components in equal amounts. Then put the bottles in, wait a few minutes and stir again and again. The cold mixture can be used to create temperatures of minus 10 degrees Celsius in the bucket in a flash. At best, it takes less than a quarter of an hour for the beer to reach the desired temperature. That's why beer cools better in the cold mixture.
