iPhone: Not enough storage available
Don't have enough storage on your iPhone for the next photo, new app or update? Don't worry. You have many different ways to free up space and clean up your iPhone.
What to do when there is not enough storage on your iPhone?
If your iPhone's storage is completely full, there is no more room for new data such as apps, photos, music and more. While iOS regularly removes temporary files that you don't need, all memory is eventually full. There are now several ways to make some space again:- Open the settings on your iPhone and navigate to "General > Storage". Here you can see which apps and media use how much memory. Look at the info at your leisure to determine your course of action.
- If you see apps in the list that you have not used for a long time, then delete the apps on the iPhone.
- If you have a lot of photos and videos on your iPhone, it is a good idea to back up this data. This works best via iTunes, where you can save the data on your PC, or also via iCloud. Via Cloud, the data is then accessible from any device via your Apple ID.
- Once important data is backed up, you can rigorously remove photos, music & Co. from your device memory.
- Want to make no compromises, there are also some ways to expand your memory. With third-party providers, there are, for example, practical iPhone cases that give a few GB of storage space and provide your iPhone with additional power.
