iPhone X processor: This hardware is in the smartphone

The iPhone X is the first to use a new generation of processors, the A 11 Bionics. With this, even high demands of modern games and applications can be implemented. The processor of the iPhone X has six cores. The Apple Monsoon and Apple Mistral models were used.

The processor of the iPhone X

A processor is the computing center of a computer or smartphone. It is therefore also called Central Processing Unit, or CPU for short. Every command that a device is to process first reaches the processor, and from there it is forwarded to the next unit in the system and processed. The performance of the processor is therefore crucial for the speed with which requests can be processed. A new processor, the A11 Bionic, was installed in the iPhone X for the first time. This replaces the A10 of the iPhone 7 and delivers up to 40 percent more performance than its predecessor. It is underutilized for most everyday tasks that users handle with their iPhone X. The processor is designed to smoothly display games with demanding graphics or to handle performance-intensive tasks like image editing or video editing. Für anspruchsvolle Nutzer ist das iPhone X also gut geeignet.

Das sind die technischen Eigenschaften des Prozessors

  • Speicherwert: 64 Bit
  • Aufteilung der Kerne: 2 Apple-Monsoon-Kerne und 4 Apple-Mistral-Kerne
