The iPhone X has been available for purchase in Germany since November 2017 and, compared to its predecessor, Apple has equipped it with several new features. In addition to a new OLED display without edge, the iPhone X has an Apple A11 processor and can be charged wirelessly thanks to the QI standard. Another new feature of the iPhone X is Face ID. This replaces the previous Touch ID and allows you to unlock your iPhone X via facial recognition.

iPhone X: Gestures replace home button functions

The biggest innovation on the iPhone X is certainly the elimination of the home button, which is replaced on the new iPhone model by the use of gestures.

1. Instead of pressing the home button, you can now get back to the home screen by swiping on the display from bottom to top over the dash displayed at the bottom edge.
