Using your phone while charging - is that possible?

There are many myths surrounding the topic of properly charging your phone battery. Many are outdated and most of them do not even apply to modern smartphones. Nevertheless, there are one or two points to consider in order to preserve the life of your battery.

Should the phone be used while charging?

To enjoy your phone for a long time and also ensure that the battery life does not let you down, it is recommended to follow certain tips. For example, you extend the life and do not have to connect your phone to the power so often.

1. While charging, you can certainly use your phone to check your mails or send a WhatsApp. However, you should refrain from playing games and watching videos, as simultaneous charging and discharging can permanently damage your battery.
2. Furthermore, you should make sure that you do not bring your power either below 10% or above 90%, as this can also negatively affect the life.
3. The same applies to a deep discharge, this should also be avoided at all costs.
4. Do not charge your phone overnight, in order to not fully charge the battery on the one hand and to avoid further charging on the other.
5. In addition, do not operate your phone for a long period at temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius as well as above 35 degrees Celsius. The same applies to charging.
