Diablo 4: What classes will there be? Info & Rumors

Since the official announcement of Diablo 4 at BlizzCon 2019, the rumor mill has been boiling over. The focus is on the question of playable classes. Our guide summarizes what is known at this point.

Barbarian, Druid and Wizard will be joined by Paladin and Amazon.

There is no set release date for Diablo 4 yet, and it will probably be a while before the release.

Diablo 4: Three classes already official - but what else is coming?

Regarding the classes, there were already some facts at the BlizzCon presentation:

• Definitely with it are barbarian, druid and wizard.
• There will be a total of five classes at release - so two are still pending.
• According to a leak, it seems to be certain that it will be Amazon and Paladin.
• This addition would make sense: Both classes already existed in previous Diablo generations, and the overall picture of the playable classes would be balanced (two melee fighters, two ranged fighters, the druid as a hybrid).
• More classes should follow after release, possibly in the form of expansions. The necromancer would then be an obvious candidate.

It is clear that the speculation around the topic will not stop until Blizzard solves the mystery. Patience is therefore called for; meanwhile, the official gameplay trailer is suitable for a first taste.
