WhatsApp: Show weather - this is how the feature works

For some time now, WhatsApp not only helps you communicate with your friends, but also informs you about the weather. To use the new feature, all you need is a new entry in the phonebook. This way you will always know if it is raining, storming or snowing.

How will the weather be? WhatsApp can tell you.

WhatsApp: add weather as a contact and check it

Once set up, the service will send you weather info every day. So you no longer have to actively look for the weather, but can be conveniently supplied with information without doing anything for it.

1. Add the following number to your contacts: +49 15792353969. This is the number of WetterOnline - this service works namely with WhatsApp.
2. Then open WhatsApp and call the new contact in a chat.
3. Send a message with the content "Start".
4. You will then automatically receive an overview of the commands with which you can request information. To get info about the weather, write "Weather". With the message "Quiet" you order the service again. Write "Stop" to get no more messages at all and with "Help" you get more information about the service.
5. Once you have written weather, you still have to specify your location.
6. In addition, you can set a time at which you will be sent a weather forecast every day.

Important tip to finish: By sending a message with "location" or "time", you can change your information at any time.
