The first Formula E Rome Grand Prix will be held on April 15. Those who cannot see the race live, can follow it live streaming
For the first time in history, a Grand Prix will be held on the streets of Rome. It won't be the Formula 1 cars to race on the streets of the Capital, but the Formula E cars, the championship dedicated to electric single-seaters with open wheels. Year after year the Formula E world championship is becoming more and more important, so as to see the participation of car companies such as Audi and Renault.
There is great anticipation for the first E-Prix of Rome that will be held Sunday, April 15 in the Eur district on a track that will measure 2.84 kilometers and will wind along 21 curves. The pilots will pass along the Cristoforo Colombo (which will be the start and finish of the Grand Prix of Rome), will cross the Obelisk dedicated to Marconi and will skirt the Fuksas Cloud (the New Convention Center Rome EUR). The whole Grand Prix is concentrated in a single race day: April 15. It starts at 8:00 am with the first round of free practice and continues at 10:30 am with the second round. At 12:00 it's already time for qualifying and at 12:45 there will be the Super Pole.

The Formula E television rights have been purchased by Mediaset for the next two editions of the World Championship. The races will be broadcast on Italia 2 or Italia 1. For fans who can not follow the E-Prix of Rome live or sitting comfortably on the couch at home, there will be the possibility to see it live streaming.
