Nintendo Switch: Find friend code

With the Nintendo Switch, you go on an adventure with your friends in numerous games. However, before this is possible, you must first find and add your friends. For this process, you or your friends will need the individual friend code assigned to each user.

How to find your friend code on the Nintendo Switch

To add a friend on the Nintendo Switch, you will need their friend code. To use the code, go to the "Add Friend" button from the home menu. Here you can then enter the code. Alternatively, it is also possible to send the request to local users or users you have already played with without entering the code. The friend code can be found in various places of your profile, and it is generated individually for each user.

1. Start the Nintendo Switch and go there to your profile by clicking on your picture in the upper left corner of the screen.
2. The friend code is now below your profile name.
3. If you click on the menu to add a friend, you will also find your own friend code here. This is always displayed there with.
4. Alternatively, you can also view your code in the settings. Gehen Sie hierfür zunächst auf Ihr Profil und anschließend auf „Nutzereinstellungen“.
5. Klicken Sie nun auf die Menüoption „Freundeseinstellungen“. Hier wird Ihr Freundescode angezeigt.
