Vodafone Pass: The costs at a glance

Since the beginning of 2018, Vodafone has been offering its customers a new service, the Vodafone Pass, which is interesting for both new and existing customers. This is what you should know

The Vodafone Pass allows you to use your smartphone and the associated possibilities even more intensively.

• An undeniable advantage of this offer is that you can use a wide variety of apps without using up your data volume for it.
• Should you use a Red and Young tariff, then one of the four possible Vodafone Passes is already included free of charge. If the booked pass is not enough, you can of course change it.
• You can also use all passes together or combine them with each other. For this you pay a surcharge of 5 euros per pass.
• The Video Pass can only be used with the most expensive Red and Young tariffs. For this, you have to pay an extra 10 euros.
• Vodafone offers you the choice between a Social, a Chat, a Music and a Video Pass. As the names suggest, these passes are tailored to the specific apps.

Where's the catch?

Of course, this attractive offer also has some aspects you need to consider. For example, all passes have a term of 24 months. Although you can change the passes monthly but the notice period is still three months. The specific passes also have their drawbacks. For example, with the Video Pass, you can only watch the videos in SD quality and when your regular data volume is used up, the speed is also throttled.
