If you want to back up the data and settings on your Huawei P30, it is recommended to create a backup of them. On the Huawei P30, you have several options for creating a backup.

1. Without the additional use of a computer or a storage medium, you can save the backup directly on the internal memory of the Huawei P30.
2. For this, first open the "Data backup" on the device and navigate there to "Backup" > "Internal memory".
3. Click "Next" to select all photos, videos and files to be backed up in the backup and confirm the creation of the backup with "Backup".
4. Once you have created the backup, you can use it to restore the device by going to "Backup" > "Restore" > "Restore from internal storage" and click "Restore".

Alternatively to the above method, you can also back up to a USB storage device or computer. To do this, connect your Huawei P30 via USB OTG cable to a suitable storage medium and create the backup under "Backup" > "Backup" > "USB storage". To create a backup using the PC, first connect the Huawei P30 to your computer. The program "HiSuite" will then start automatically and you only need to select the files to be backed up under "Backup".
