In almost every living room there is now a large smart TV. However, the purchase often raises the question of what exactly you need to pay attention to as a user. In addition to the technical aspects, you should take personal preferences into account when deciding which TV to buy.

How do you find out which TV suits you?

For most TV purchases, size is the deciding factor. However, here you should consider whether the TV will hang on the wall or whether it will stand on a stand. Some devices are a bit heavier and need a secure mount and thus a stable wall. You should also pay attention to the correct distance.

1. The distance to the screen should be about three times the screen diagonal. For a 40-inch TV, that would already be three meters.
2. Another important feature is the resolution. Do you want a 4K TV or is it not worth it because you neither watch HD TV nor videos in HD quality? Generally, simple Full HD is enough for most streaming services and TV programs.
3. Most providers, however, only write 4K, but sell UHD TVs. You should therefore always make sure that the TV has at least 4,096 x 2,160 pixels.
