Huawei P30: How to take a screenshot

You can always capture your current screen in a screenshot on the Huawei P30. This creates a photo of your screen that you can quickly and easily save or share with your contacts.

How to take a screenshot on the Huawei P30

There are several ways to take a screenshot with your Huawei P30. These three are available to you at any time:

• Press the Volume Down button and the Power button simultaneously for a moment.
• Swipe down twice from the top of the screen and tap the screenshot icon, which is represented by a rectangle and a pair of scissors.
• Tap your knuckle lightly on the screen twice in direct succession.

After each of these three variants, you will be shown a preview of the screenshot on your Huawei P30. If you tap on it, you will go directly to the saved screenshot. Otherwise, you can now find the screenshot in the gallery under "Albums > Screenshots".

Taking a scrolling screenshot

Sometimes not everything you want to capture fits on the smartphone's display. Especially when you want to take a picture of a web page, a so-called scrolling screenshot is useful. This does not capture a photo in screen size, but the entire medium that you are currently looking at.

1. For a scrolling screenshot, first take a screenshot on your Huawei P30. It doesn't matter which of the three variants described above you use.
2. The preview will be displayed. Swipe the preview down to take a scrolling screenshot.
3. You will then also find the file in the gallery in the album "Screenshots".
