iCloud photo sharing: share photos with iPhone

Everyone knows it: you are on vacation or on a trip and you took a great snapshot with your iPhone. You now want to share this with your contacts so that they can enjoy the photo. Apple already offers its own solution here, which works via iCloud.

How to use iCloud Photo Sharing and share your photos

Using iCloud Photo Sharing, you can share photos or entire albums. To do this, you just need to enable the corresponding feature in your iCloud and then share the photos.

1. Open the Settings app by tapping on the corresponding app icon. This is indicated by a gray gear.
2. Then go further to your name and "iCloud" > "Photos" and activate the option "Photo sharing".
3. To share the corresponding photo, open the photo app and tap on "Albums" and "Select".
4. Now you can select individual images or tap on "All" to select the entire album.
5. Now the share and delete icon appears below. Tap the share icon to get a choice of how you want to share the photos. Select the option "iCloud".
6. Now a new album will be created in the iCloud. Diesem müssen Sie einen Namen geben.
7. Im nächsten Schritt können Sie die Kontakte auswählen, mit denen Sie das Album teilen wollen und einen Kommentar verfassen.
8. Mit einem Tipp auf „Posten“ wird das Album dann geteilt.
