iCloud photo library doesn't load - what you can do

Through iCloud you have the possibility to outsource photos from your iPhone or iPad and synchronize them with each other. From time to time, however, it happens that the images stored in the cloud do not load when you access the library.

Renable iCloud Photo - here's how

Sourcing out photos and videos to the iCloud Photo library not only saves storage space, but also allows you to access the library from all Apple devices connected to the cloud. If the uploaded images don't load, there are several tricks you can use to fix the problem. First, try turning off the iCloud Photos feature on your iOS device and turning it back on.
  1. Go to Settings from your iPhone or iPad.
  2. In the overview, tap your username and select the "iCloud" menu item.
  3. There you will find an overview of storage usage as well as a list of apps that use iCloud. Tap on "Photos" in the app list.
  4. Disable the slider on the "iCloud Photos" option and then re-enable the feature.
Turning the iCloud Photos feature on and off will resync the photos and should display properly again.

Logging in and out of your iCloud account

Another way to fix the problem is to log in and out of your iCloud account.
  1. Open the settings of your iOS device.
  2. Tap on your username.
  3. Scroll all the way down and tap on "Sign out".
  4. After that, you can log back in using the "Sign in to iPhone or iPad" option in the settings.
