Horizon Zero Dawn: Energy Cells - how to find them

The game Horizon Zero Dawn is set in a post-apocalyptic future, where human civilization has already collapsed for almost 1,000 years. During your adventure you'll have to complete numerous tasks. These include collecting energy cells in the side quest "Ancient Armory".

How to find the energy cells in Horizon Zero Dawn

In the world of Horizon Zero Dawn you will find numerous wild animals and dinosaurs, but also futuristic machine creatures. During your adventure you'll encounter various tasks that you can complete. In the side quest Old Armory you'll have to find five energy cells.

1. You'll find the first energy cell in Director Evans' office in the bunker. Note that you can only reach it as an adult, because the door is blocked by stalactites.
2. You will get another cell in the Holy Mountain. You can reach the corresponding room only through a ventilation shaft in a wall. After testing, go into the antechamber and find the shaft on the right wall.
3. In Creator's End you need to climb to the top of the tower above the office of Ted Faros. Here you can get via the staircase behind Faros elevator. Here, too, you will then find an energy cell.
4. The fourth energy cell you will find in the grave hoard. This is in a storage room behind the doors with the hologram locks.
