iPhone X Caller ID Suppression: Easily Possible

On the iPhone X, the caller ID can be suppressed for outgoing calls via the settings. You can set this permanently in the settings or use a specific prefix to suppress the number only on a single call. In both cases, you don't need an additional app.

How to suppress your phone number on iPhone X

By default, an outgoing call always includes the caller's phone number as information and displays it on the recipient's phone or smartphone. If you prefer not to show your number, you can simply suppress it on iPhone X. Either turn off the sharing of the phone number permanently in the settings or preselect a number to suppress it for individual calls. Keep in mind that you can't be called back when the number is suppressed.

Suppress the number permanently

1. Open the settings.
2. Select "Phone".
3. Go to "Send my caller ID".
4. Next to this option, you will see a green slider.
