AirDrop: How the exchange works

AirDrop is a free program that ensures that you can send files completely wirelessly between iPhone and Mac.

1. First, open the iPhone Control Center and enable both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
2. Now, enable AirDrop by pressing the box in the top left corner for a longer time.
3. A menu window will open where you need to select and enable the "AirDrop" option.
4. Decide between "Only contacts" or "Everyone" and AirDrop is enabled on your iPhone.
5. You must also enable Bluetooth and WLAN on your Mac, which you do via the corresponding icon on the right side of the menu bar.
6. Your device is now displayed on the Mac in the category "Finder" > "AirDrop". If you do not find the device, you need to enable AirDrop by checking AirDrop in the settings.
