Change Congstar tariff: It's that easy

Sometimes it can make sense to change the Congstar tariff. This case occurs, for example, if you want a tariff with a higher performance. In addition, it may be that your current tariff is too expensive for its provided performance.

At Congstar you can manage your tariffs online and also change them. Likewise, you will find the option to select a different tariff directly in the Congstar app.

1. Log in with your user data in the "meincongstar customer center". Alternatively, open the app on your smartphone.
2. Under "My products" you can view your tariffs. Click on the appropriate one and select the option "Edit".
3. Now click on "Change tariff". Congstar will now show you a list of tariffs you are allowed to switch to.
4. Pick your desired tariff and follow the further ordering instructions.

Additional tips for tariff switching

If you switch to a tariff Congstar allows you to in the customer center, this process is free of charge. In some cases, you may have to wait until the expiration of the minimum contract term. If you are not quite sure, it is best to contact the Congstar service team. You can also get information in person at a Telekom store.When you change tariffs, you keep your old SIM card as well as your previous phone number.Note: It takes about 14 days until the new tariff is valid. If you change from a prepaid offer to a contract, the waiting time can be up to 19 days.
