Samsung Galaxy A70 screenshot - how it works

If you want to take a screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy A70, you can do so either by using a key combination or a swipe gesture. The images created in this way are saved on your smartphone and can then be forwarded via WhatsApp or e-mail, for example.

Create a screenshot using a keyboard shortcut

Follow these steps to take a screenshot using a keyboard shortcut:
  1. Call up the content you want to take a screenshot of.
  2. Hold down the Power key and the Volume Down key simultaneously for about two seconds.
  3. Once the capture is successful, you will get an audible or visual feedback.
The images will be automatically saved to your gallery in the Screenshots folder.

Taking a screenshot via swipe gesture

In addition to the key combination, it is also possible to take a screenshot via gesture control.
  1. Open the content on your Galaxy A70 that you want to capture.
  2. Swipe the screen with the edge of your hand. For the screenshot to be taken, you need to swipe at least halfway across the screen. Make sure that you always keep your hand in contact with the screen.
  3. If the capture was successful, you will usually receive an audible or visual feedback.
If the swipe gesture does not work, you may have to activate the function first. To do this, call up the settings and navigate to the "Motions and gestures" category. There you will find the option "Capture by swiping", which you need to activate using the slider.
