Once you have created an account with Netflix, you are automatically subscribed to the newsletter. This will notify you regularly about new releases of movies and series. Netflix wants to ensure that you are always up to date, but is usually rather annoying with the many notifications.

Happily, there is an option to disable the notifications. This will not only spare your inbox, but you can be sure that when you receive a new message, it does not come from Netflix.

1. To disable the notifications, you must first navigate to the Netflix website.
2. Log in with your account and click on your profile in the upper right corner.
3. From the new menu, select the "Account" entry.
4. Next, go to the "Settings" section and to the "Communication settings" item.
5. In this section you can freely define what kind of notifications you would like to receive and which not.
6. To completely disable all notifications, check "I do not want to receive emails or SMS messages".
7. Clicking "Update" will apply all your changes.
