What is Wunderlist? How the online service works

Wunderlist allows for easy online task management. With this principle, the service has become so well-known and successful that major changes have taken place. As a result, the name Wunderlist will probably soon be history.

Simple concept: with Wunderlist, you create to-do lists on your cell phone or computer.

Wunderlist originated in Germany and was released in 2011. Since then, a lot has happened and that has consequences.

What is Wunderlist and why is it so popular?

The principle of Wunderlist is quickly explained:

The success of this fairly simple principle attracted large interested parties, in 2015 Wunderlist was purchased by Microsoft. The software giant is now planning to make the Wunderlist name disappear completely, as all functions have been integrated into Microsoft's own service called To Do.Existing as well as future Wunderlist users will consequently have to switch to To Do if you don't want to miss Wunderlist's functionalities. The Wunderlist app as such will thus probably not be around for much longer.
