Wunderlist vs To Do: An overview of the differences

Microsoft bought Wunderlist in 2015 and has since developed its own service called To Do, which includes all the features of Wunderlist. We show what the differences are.

To Do offers some features that Wunderlist does not.

A digital to-do list is handy and is used by millions of people because of it. Wunderlist and To Do both belong to Microsoft and there is a reason for the differences.

Wunderlist vs. To Do: This is what you should know

All Wunderlist features are included in To Do. The reverse is not true, as To Do has some exclusive features:
  • Personal day planner
  • Recommendations and reviews
  • Colored lists
  • Various list designs
  • Dark Mode
The thinking behind this is clear: In the foreseeable future, Microsoft wants Wunderlist to disappear and therefore gives its own service some additional features. The change to To Do is supposed to be gently forced by this. Consequently, at the very bottom of the Wunderlist page you will find the button to transfer your content directly to To Do.
