How to proceed if your speakers crack

Whether you're watching a movie, listening to music, or just have them on, when your speakers crack, the noise is incredibly annoying. Often, however, the cause of the noise can be quickly determined and fixed.

If a crackling noise can be heard in the speakers, it is usually due to incorrect wiring. Therefore, the first thing you should do is check your connections. If you have another audio access to your PC, test if the speakers crackle when you connect them there.Also check if the cable could be broken. Also test if there might be a loose contact on the speakers themselves. Just move the cable close to the connector back and forth a bit. If the crackling of the speakers suddenly stops in one position, you have a loose contact that you can get repaired.

Fix Speaker Crackling

To keep all your devices working properly, you should always keep your system updated. Update your sound card drivers if your speakers are cracking.

Endet trotz aller Versuche das Knacken der Lautsprecher nicht, liegt wahrscheinlich ein Defekt in den Boxen vor.
